Day two was pretty good!

Morning came too early even though we slept very soundly. The bed in our villa is like sleeping on a cloud. Today was our Epcot day.

We were meeting Bonnie and Ross at Spaceship Earth at 10:00am and Patti and I beat the clock and we’re waiting as they walked in. We immediately went to Soarin to use our fast passes. I told the cast member that it was their first time riding this and asked for row one. Request granted!

I spent more time watching Ross’s facial expressions than the film and it was priceless. He really enjoyed that ride!

We decided on an early lunch and went to the Electric Umbrella for flat breads and sausage and pepper sandwiches.

We love walking around Epcot during the Flower and Garden Festival.

We got a message that our friends, Sig and Lisa Berg had just landed and we’re waiting to get onto the Magical Express Bus. They were headed to Disney’s Hollywood Studios first and we were all getting together for dinner at Cape May later.

A little while later we received another message from Sig saying their room was ready and it was just across the hall from us.

I had requested they be near us and I stopped down to Concierge this morning and requested it once again but I was told the assignment had been made and we would be happy

Thanks Mickey!

We saw Nemo and friends…… and Turtle Talk with Crush. Bonnie and Ross were hot and tired so they headed back to Caribbean Beach Resort for a mid day break to swim. Our temps were in the 90’s today and our sun felt really hot!

Totally awesome Dude!

They would hook up with us at 5:00pm for our dinner reservation.

Patti and I walked down to the Speedway gas station which is just a couple of hundred yards from our resort and brought back snacks, beer, wine and some pastries to have in our villa.

Our dinner at Cape May was excellent and the company was even better! Thanks Sig, Lisa, Bonnie and Ross for an enjoyable dinner. After….. we all walked back to the Boardwalk and enjoyed some jugglers and magicians.

Bonnie and Ross decided to head back to the Caribbean Beach Resort and get some rest. We waved goodbye as they boarded the boat for DHS where they will catch the bus to their resort.

I’m enjoying a cold adult beverage on our balcony waiting to see the Star Wars Fireworks display from Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

We enjoyed our view of the Star Wars Fireworks from our balcony.

We are headed to bed a little early tonight in preparation for my big day tomorrow.  Ross and I are playing golf at Disney’s Lake Buena Vista Golf Club at 8:00 am. Our wives are headed to Disney Springs with Sig and Lisa while we are golfing.

After we are spending an hour or two in our pool before our dinner at the ESPN Club. We are also headed to Epcot to see our favorite rock group, The British Revolution performing in the U.K followed by Herman’s Hermits on the American Garden stage.

So far……. this trip is providing us with a lot of memories of time spent with good friends!

I hope you are enjoying my trip reports. See you tomorrow!

  1. Thanks,Tom &Patty for sharing your trip with us!! Can’t believe you stayed sooo busy in that heat! You got a lot in ! Pic’s are great. What’s your favorite rest. so far? Crowds? Keep having fun!!!

    1. Good morning Peggy. So far my favorite place we ate at was the ESPN Club. We are enjoying the heat…. not much of that in Rochester.

The crowds at the Magic Kingdom were light. EPCOT was busier.

Thanks for reading and look for more memories to happen.
