Day Five….. Animal Kingdom

We were back in Animal Kingdom to enjoy some of the things we missed the other day. Last night we looked at the weather forecast and decided to move our first Fast Pass back about couple of hours and I am glad we did.

We had a little liquid pixie dust falling as we walked to our bus stop. Not a lot…. just nuisance stuff.

The bus ride was pretty uneventful and only took about twenty minutes. We were soon walking through the check in.

We walked towards Dinoland and turned left and went directly to Finding Nemo the Musical.

Tip……. when you see this show, do not run up front as some of the show happens in the isles behind you. We always try to be center stage, three rows from the top.

After the show we walked to Dinoland and rode our favorite rife at AK, Dinosaur.

It was time for some lunch and we like the food at Restaurantosaurus. It’s Disney’s version of fast food, but it tastes pretty good.

Next it was time for our safari. The animals were pretty active with lots of up close photos to be had like these young giraffes.

Then we walked to see the gorillas on the Pangani Forest Exploration Trail.

Now there are a lot of things we didn’t do at Animal Kingdom but we were there last April and have another trip booked for next April so we don’t feel bad if we skip some things. We headed back to our villa at Saratoga Springs for a break before park hopping to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

We enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching golfers go by and even helped one of the duffers find his wayward golf ball in the rough below our balcony.

We walked up to Concierge and used some of our gift cards to pay towards our bill. I expect to have our credit card charged for only about $50.00 tomorrow morning. Then it was time to hop over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

I thought there would be more people there tonight but the crowd wasn’t really bad. We walked to Star Tours and enjoyed another ride and then went and saw the Muppets once again.

We walked to the Streets of America to see the Osborne Spectacle of Dancing Lights one more time and decided to have our picture taken by the Photo Pass Photographer in front of the lights.

We’ve had a great vacation so far and we still have tomorrow morning at the Magic Kingdom. We have not had one single problem and that’s because of experience and good planning. I love planning vacations for my clients and see their happy faces when they share their pictures.
