Once again we slept until about 8:00am and enjoyed breakfast on our balcony in our villa. It was fun watching all the golfers hitting approach shots and putting out. From what we witnessed today, I am not all that bad of a golfer.
We had a semi private coach today. Only two others got on.
Our first stop was getting photos taken on the way into the park.
Then we had a great surprise. Mickey, Minnie and Goofy showed up and danced with the kids. Yes…. I’m a kid when I’m at Walt Disney World…….. and yes…… I danced! Quit laughing! 😀
Patti and I decided it was time for lunch and we left the park and took the Friendship Boat to the Boardwalk for a late lunch at the ESPN Club.
We ordered a pitcher of beer. We ordered a Ceasars salad and told our waitress we were going to split it. She asked if we wanted it presplit in two bowls. Yes we do. We also ordered chicken wings and we also split a Philly Cheese steak which they cut and put on two plates for us. The service was extremely good….. thanks to Amy!
We walked back to DHS and went on the Great Movie Ride, Toy Story Mania, and Star Tours before walking through the Osborne Spectacle of Dancing Lights.
After we were refreshed we walked into Epcot through the International Gateway. We walked to the American Experience and enjoyed the presentation of the history of our country and what it took to become this great nation.
We decided to head back to our villa but we stopped to ride Spaceship Earth. As usual, we loved it.
It was a quick bus ride back and we are now sipping adult beverages on our balcony.
Tomorrow’s plan has changed a little bit. I moved our fast pass for the Kilimanjaro Safaris back a little later in the day as Patti and I are showing signs of Disney burnout. We are going to sleep in and take our time getting to Animal Kingdom.
Our plan now is to get there, enjoy the park, and then park hop over to DHS later in the day to be there to enjoy the premier of the Star Wars Fireworks that are debuting tomorrow night.
Let’s see if we stick with the new plan.
