Day two….. Epcot!

We had such a great time yesterday and we didn’t bother to set an alarm clock this morning.   After all…… we are on vacation.  We woke up to the sun peaking through the curtains.

Patti got the coffee maker going and I started by checking the weather forecast for today so we would know how to dress. It’s supposed to be in the  upper 70’s today with a slight chance of rain.

We had our breakfast,  blueberry muffins,  cheerios and banana and we’re soon getting ready for Epcot. We arrived at around 11:00.

As we entered Epcot we planned on riding Spaceship Earth but the line was way to long. It was a honest 30 minute wait.

We ended up getting my first Mickey Bar of the trip and it was great!

We road Ellen’s Universe of Energy. It both educational and entertaining. I highly recommend this underused attraction.

Then it was time for our lunch at the Garden Grill.  The food was absolutely amazing like it always is and we got to see old friends,  Farmer Mickey, Pluto and of course Chip and Dale.

We enjoyed our time with Turtle Talk with Crush watching the little’s faces light up when Crush would talk with them.

Tip…….  when you take your kids make sure they sit up front where they can carry on a conversation with Crush!

Our ride with Nemo and friends was fun but we really enjoyed our ride with Soarin!  I can’t wait until they complete the refurbishment of this attraction.

We walked to World Showcase and stopped in Canada to see the new act that replaced the Lumberjack show and we really enjoyed this act.

From there it was an easy walk to the UK to see the British Revolution perform. These guys are all friends and they laughed at me when I asked to get a picture with them.

It was time for our reservation for the Candlelight Processional with America Ferrera. We got in the reservation line early for this to insure we had great seats. We were not disappointed in this show at all. It was pretty spectacular.

We decided to walk to the Boardwalk Villas and catch the bus to Disney Springs. I’m looking for another golf club head cover and saw a Goofy one during the last trip. We went to the World of Disney and all they had was Grumpy. I asked a Cast Member if they had any and she looked for it for me and said it was discontinued.

We ended up walking back to Saratoga Springs and stopped at the store and bought some food items that I didn’t order and we had another Mickey Bar.

After a short walk back to our villa, we are relaxing on our patio with a nice cold adult beverage.

See you tomorrow as we head back to the Magic Kingdom!
