November was a real busy month for my wife and I. I am an avid bow hunter and try to spend as much time as I can in a tree stand in pursuit of an adult whitetail buck. And with my travel business in full gear it was hard to find time to jot down my thoughts.
We also traveled to Albuquerque, New Mexico in mid November to celebrate the second birthday of our grandson Cason. We also got to spend some quality time with Patti’s son Chris and our granddaughter Bailey.
But we missed our daughter in law Shanda. She was travelinig with her good friend, Holly Holm to Melbourne, Australia where she defeated Rhonda Rousey in the second round of the UFC Bantam weight world championship fight.
Shanda didn’t return home until the day before we had to leave and was dead tired from the flight from Melbourne to Albuquerque.
And then we had to get ready for Thanksgiving holiday so I’ve been MIA for almost a month.
Now we are getting ready for our pre Christmas trip to Walt Disney World to see the Osborne Spectacle of Dancing Lights one final time after Disney announced this was the final year of their showing.
It wasn’t our intent to go again this year after being there in April for the Flower and Garden Festival and already being booked in mid April, 2016 for another week but we’ve only been to see the dancing lights one other time and needed to see them again.
