Parking changes at Walt Disney World

New parking rates took effect today at the Walt Disney World Resort. Yes….. Disney is always looking for a way to increase their profit margin.

Per Walt Disney World website……….

“Theme Parks

Guests pay one fee per day to receive a parking pass good for all Disney theme park parking lots.

  • Car or Motorcycle – $20 per day
  • Shuttle, Limo, Camper, Trailer or RV – $22 per day
  • Bus or Tractor Trailer – $25 per day

Disney Resort Hotel Guests
Self-parking at theme parks and Disney Resort hotels is complimentary for Disney Resort hotel Guests.

Annual Passholders
Theme park self-parking is included with select annual passes.

Disney Resort Hotels

Self-parking at Disney Resort hotels is complimentary for Disney Resort hotel Guests.Valet parking is available at select Disney Deluxe Resorts for $25 per day.

Water Parks

Disney water park parking is complimentary for all Guests.

Disney Springs

Self-parking is complimentary at Disney Springs. If you’re arriving via I-4, please take exit 67. Simply follow the signs to available parking, which may be located across the street—just a short walk to Disney Springs. We recommend arriving 60 minutes prior to your showtime or dining reservation.Valet parking is available with prices starting at $10 for the first 2 hours. The maximum cost for valet parking is $20 for 3 or more hours. Payment is collected when you pick up your vehicle. Gratuity is not included in the cost.

Staying at a Disney Resort hotel? Be sure to take advantage of complimentary transportation by bus or boat. Many area accommodations also provide transportation to Disney Springs.

ESPN Wide World of Sports

ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex parking is complimentary for all Guests.

Parking for Guests with Disabilities

Designated parking areas are available throughout Walt Disney World Resort for Guests with disabilities. A valid disability parking permit is required.Theme Park Parking
Guests with the ability to walk short distances and step onto courtesy trams should park in the main parking lots of Magic Kingdom park, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park. Courtesy trams will then transport Guests to each theme park’s Main Entrance.

Parking for Guests with mobility disabilities—including those traveling with personal wheelchairs, electric scooters or other mobility devices—is available adjacent to the Main Entrance of each theme park. Please be aware that courtesy trams do not serve these locations.”

For further directions on parking options, Guests should inquire at the Auto Plaza.”

There are also changes to the Annual Pass at Walt Disney World with some added benefits. There are too many scenarios to list here but be sure to check with your travel agent for all the options before planning your next trip.
